♥Hearts for Hospice♥

Hearts for Hospice is a wonderful philanthropic project run by the members of the Greater Kansas City Needlepoint Guild. This project was initiated in 2015 to fulfill a need at a local hospice center.
- When a resident passes away, a heart is placed on the door notifying others to be respectful of those mourning. The family of the resident can then take the heart home.
- The beautiful needlepoint heart becomes a cherished remembrance, bringing peace to the recipient.
To date, over 6,000 hearts have been finished and distributed by the guild.
Needlepoint hearts are the most beloved.
To participate, you just stitch a heart and then ship it to Sue Hart - the Greater Kansas City Needlepoint Guild takes care of the finishing! Dig into your thread stash and stitch your heart in any color or pattern you choose - there are no guidelines that must be followed.
Needlepoint Destashing is happy to offer a free blank canvas with a drawn heart outline to any order placed with us! There is an option to add this to your order before checkout. The free heart canvas offered is created on different mesh sizes depending on what we have on hand.
